AAF's approach combines four core impact pillars (what we do) and four enabling pillars (how we do it), ensuring long-term, scalable transformation across Africa.

Our strategic pillars position us to advance skills development and behavior change at the individual/household levels, while working with governments and partners to promote an enabling environment for the economic transformation of the continent.

  • Provide free access to digital learning platforms for 8 million African youth.
  • Connect 5,000 schools to the internet, bridging the digital divide in underserved communities.
  • Award 1,000 scholarships in tech-related fields to talented Africans based on merit and need.
  • Advocate for climate-smart policies and resilience strategies at national and continental levels.
  • Support 50 green-tech and climate-focused startups with digital tools and resources to accelerate impact.
  • Embed environmental sustainability initiatives into all school and community programs to drive awareness and action.
  • Equip 1 million youth with core IT and digital skills for the future of work.
  • Establish 100 technology hubs in underserved regions to provide access and training.
  • Fund advanced tech training for 1,000 African women, fostering gender equity in the digital economy.
